LEGACY

Locarno is a family-owned 4th generation landlord and real estate developer based in Vancouver.  Our roots date back to the 1920s when our founder, Reginald Orr, began buying and developing properties in recognizable locations throughout West Point Grey, Dunbar, Kitsilano, and East Vancouver.

​Today, Locarno specializes in the acquisition, development and operation of commercial and mixed-use buildings in established and growing neighborhoods. The portfolio includes a diversity of mixed-use buildings on many of Vancouver's major arterials that are home to a diverse range of national, regional, and local tenants.

We are proud of the work we do, the people we work with and are a team of a caring and passionate professionals.  Our strategy is to hold properties for the long-term and we pride ourselves on producing high quality projects that will maintain their appeal for generations.

​The crest of our logo embodies Vancouver's historic curved residential streets like Locarno Crescent, Crown Crescent, and Jericho Circle that Reginald Orr began developing in the 1920s, blended with the symbology of multi-level building forms that we're developing today; one century later.
